Curriculum
The Foundation Stage curriculum sets out the early learning goals for children from 3-5 years old. We carefully structure our curriculum to base each term’s teaching and learning schemes around these guidelines.

To help the children bring exercise into their lifestyles we are now incorporating P.E. lessons into our curriculum. The children are encouraged to change into their P.E. kits with the minimum of adult assistance, leaving their clothes ready to put back on afterwards. They learn the importance of staying healthy, and warming up and cooling down before and after exercise. Sessions include fun exercises, balancing, running on the spot, jumping, stretching etc., learning how their bodies change during exercise.
Lunch club
The Pre-school offers a lunch club on a Tuesday from 12 noon - 1pm at a cost of £2.00 per child. The children bring along a packed lunch from home and join their friends in this social activity, sitting and eating appropriately all together. Initially the places are offered to the oldest children so that they get used to having this type of facility before they move on to school.
